Web Summit 2022 is fully sold out

Never before has an edition of Web Summit sold out this early.

It is official: No tickets left for the 2022 Web Summit, and never before has an edition of the summit sold out this early. However, the event will have the same number of attendees as in 2019.

Between November 1 and 4, Web Summit will have more than 70,000, 2,630 exhibiting startups and companies, 1,120 investors and 1,040 speakers, according to a statement released by the organisation this Friday.

“By early 2021, it looked like Web Summit might not survive the year. As a team, we rallied together and somehow made it through 2021. It’s been an extraordinary recovery over the last 18 months, from near death in early 2021 to our best year ever in 2022,” says Paddy Cosgrave, founder and CEO at Web Summit.

“To cater for the 2,630 companies taking to the exhibition floor, Web Summit 2022 will spread over an area at the Altice Arena and FIL pavilions,” the organisation added.

However, the ambition to receive 100,000 attendees this year was not fulfilled due to space limitations and planned expansion plans not going through.
